Best value for what it is

I've done insane amount of research and came up with this brand for my new security camera system. The picture quality is truly great. Have not gotten an chance to see it at night yet. The cameras are very sturdy and cables are long enough to cover a decent size area. Comes with a DVR that is nice and compact. It is by far the best value. I am looking to add 2 more cameras to it if they offer those individually, as well. Would recommend.

Clear home security camera system

I like security camera system. The quality of the video was surprisingly great it was clear. The installation was a little bit challenging but I contact customer service and they helped me through it. I would say nothing can beat it! Customer service was fast and reliable. This camera system came with 4 camera and 1 TB hard drive and it have inferred compatibility And best part is i can also access it through my phone. I recommend this DVR security camera system.

(Was on a sale-great price) set up is easier then it would seem.

We had a car vandalized recently so we have been searching for one of these a few weeks since. It's been a few weeks now we had it up and it works pretty great. The night vision seems to work just as good. We have senor lights all around and they seems to work perfectly togther. Really easy to install. Came quickly as we needed it to, we got it out and started set up took around 2 hours for everything including getting it up on the laptop-wiring everything. Linked up quick to laptop and bam. We could and can see everything going on around our house. This particular set happend to be on a sale when I was searching for security systems. I am very happy with it and the price compaired to 200+ that we just dont have rite now. It works great and is just what we needed.

This security camera set is easy to install

I need a camera system to monitor a storage yard and the quote from the professional installer is super expensive . I decide to do it myself . After research online for a while . found this system the best price and include hard drive also. It arrives quickly and come nicely packaged and seem very easy to setup. I'm new to the installation and it was easy enough to figure out and test on my desk before installing. Make sure you test it first and understand how it works. Support is actually pretty good. Just email seller if needed Also read booklet and watch some onine videos help a lot. At first I was disappointed that the camera only was mountable on one axis, but I figured out the second screw on the camera can loosen which allows the head to rotate a little as well. The night vision works better than expected and motion detection seems to be fine, I'm still tweaking this. I installed 4 cameras and I just ordered 4 more to maximize the potential of the system. Now it is installed about 4 weeks,and it still work perfectly as new even during the -30 degree days outdoor. I use my desktop monitor with a vga cable and can switch over to view it anytime when needed. Works great!

Great System

Running the wire was very time consuming as it's an older building I was installing in. The cabling is much smaller then coax cable and more flexible which made it easier to hide. After running the cable to the DVR, I plugged everything in at once. Monitor, Eathernet cable, Video in and the mouse. I turned the monitor on and then plugged in the power to the DVR and turned it on. The 4 cameras I had installed came up after a short delay. Because I was connected to the internet, the system was able to tell me the system was up to date. Amazing picture quality when viewing from a TV or a laptop. Very very easy to set up using your phone and or a computer, I had a little trouble getting the lobby you from my laptop to show in the device list so I called customer support and the gentleman that helped me was very nice and had me fix in about 20 minutes. Overall it's a good system and am happy with it. I ordered a 4 cam system for my friend. Can't beat the price

Good home security system with great customer service

I purchased this DVR security system to upgrade from a 4 camera system that I was using to this XVIM 8 channel DVR system. The setup was an easy plug and play upgrade for me. I plugged in my current 4 1080p cameras (which are compatible) along with the 4 included 720p cameras without any issues. The DVR is easy to navigate and had all the basic option you will need to start protecting your home. The camera picture is very clear and the night visions works well. The 1 terabyte hard drive has plenty of space to record. Everything that you’ll need is included in the well packaged box. Overall, this is a great budget home security system and can easily be upgraded if desired. Best of all the customer support was some of the best I have delt with in a long time. I had a few question regarding my system and they where alway quick to respond.

I love to buy things from Amazon, and recently found out my package got stolen by package thieves. I had my contractor came to install the system for me, it was easy to install, only took him less than 60 mins to finish everything. Good for wired CCTV system without Wi-Fi dropouts

I have used lots of IP security cameras individually and bought a wireless NVR, but this is my first wired NVR system. The NVR system can record up to 8 cameras and comes with 4 cameras, power supplies and cabling, as well as a 1TB hard drive built into the NVR. The cameras are 720p indoor/outdoor cameras with built in IR for continuous viewing at night. The system was very easy to get working, I just plugged everything in and it worked. The 720p cameras seem to be very clear during the day and fine at night with their built in IR illuminators. The one problem that I had was I couldn’t get the hdmi port to work with my monitor, so I had to use the VGA port to get my display to recognize the input. That was probably an issue with my old monitor though. The CMS software that works with the NVR system is a fairly easy to set up to record from a schedule or from motion detection. It’s very easy to scroll through what you have recorded to play back pre-recorded videos from the point you select. I have lots of drop-outs with my other wireless cameras and NVR so even though it’s more difficult to install wired cameras I would recommend wired cameras over wireless any time you are able to install the cabling so that you never get connectivity or drop-out problems.

When quite nice security 4 Ch 720p wifi with night vision and remote access. When I am outside my home, I can check my property. The system is easy to install and I have completed all installations according to the user guide. So far, all cameras have provided beautiful pictures and system work. This price, it is ok for me. The video is very clear and the night vision is good. I hope I know this first. highly recommended.

Wired security system with great night vision and easy set up

Ok, I must admit the 1TB hard drive attracted me first. If I purchase it separate, it will cost me about $100 just to buy the hard drive by itself. Then the ‘wired’ fact, it’s definitely more reliable than the batteries operating system. As a single mom, the necessity of having a security system set up at my house is a must. I’m not a tech savvy but I’m proud I could actually set up this system myself. I installed the 2 cameras inside the house. To my surprise, the night vision is better than I expected. I attached the pics of the same rooms with lights on and without the lights on, as comparison. Second picture was taken when the rooms were pitch black and I could still see everything pretty good. I connected the cameras on a small TV that I didn’t use. For those who do not have a TV, you could also buy a used computer monitor. Important note: you must have Ethernet cable and HDMI cable to get this system installed on a TV. And even though the manual is informative, I recommend the seller to put more details information in a bigger picture of which cable should connect to what (so many cables can be intimidating for some people). Attaching video installation on how to connect the system would be a big plus as well. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. The price is reasonable compare to other similar products. And the most important thing is this security system gives me peace of mind. I feel safer in my own house now.
